Our Stage 1 Abarth Audio upgrade starts with upgrading the front door speakers. We use the Audison Prima 2 way component speakers which we have installed in our own Abarth 595 alongside plenty of sound deadening. If you own a Abarth you will know the door is very tinny. This is due to the fact there is virtually no Sound Proofing in the door from factory.
Once the doors have been sound treated we install the replacement 6.5” Midrange driver in the door using adaptors as required. The replacement tweeter is fitted in the factory location.
The end result is a car which is so much more musical to the ears. The Vocals are so much clearer now and the Mid bass is much tighter and more controlled. The staging is vastly improved.
Even closing the doors you will feel the difference the sound deadening has made.
