Carry your Automatic Driver Recognition (ADR) Card with you to automatically arm and disarm the system when entering or leaving your vehicle.
The A4627 Immobiliser protects against the most common and hi-tech vehicle theft techniques – including relay attacks, key cloning, Onboard Diagnostics (OBD) hacking and key theft.
Frequently asked Questions
What does extended range mean?
ADR Cards have a signal strength that can be picked up by the system to a distance of +/- 5M. This is particularly beneficial for large vans or motor homes.
How quickly does the system arm / disarm?
The system has a 25 second arming time after the ignition is switched off and the ADR Card is removed from the detection area and disarms – once the system picks up the ADR Card signal.
What types of vehicles/models are particularly suited for this device?
All passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) can benefit from either a starter cut for internal combustion engine (ICE) and Drive selection on electric vehicle (EV) models. Hybrid manual transmission vehicles (HMTVs) would need to be assessed on a vehicle make/model basis – as it is not possible to use the request to drive to immobilise.
What is the maximum number of ADR Cards programmable to a Single device?
A total of 4 ADR cards can be programmed to the device simultaneously.
What happens if I forget my ADR Card?
The vehicle will remain immobilised – but can be overridden by entering the emergency PIN code in the LED control panel.
